OFH hardware repair classes were
successful in teaching students how to repair their own computer
problems without spending big bucks on professionals to do it.
The donated, broken computers, after being fixed, have been
distributed to families and students who have shown strong
commitment in tutoring & said the gift would help with
homework. If you have old computers that you would
like to donate, please contact Ames or OFH!

OFH & Ames Church partnered
in fixing up the house at 2012 Hanchett St with the goals of
addressing blight in Saginaw, teaching construction & home
improvement skills, giving part-time employment, and empowering a
family to make the jump from renting to owning. If you
are interested in being considered for the home, please fill out an
APPLICATION FORM FOR 2012

OFH and Ames Church have been
blessed with a computer lab fully equipped with Windows Vista, 14
work stations, Internet, network laser printers, and more. Due
to lack of response, computer classes are being put on hold.
If you are interested in any classes, please contact the
church
. If we receive a good number
of interested people, we will most definitely bring the classes back! |

The tutoring outreach at Ames, in
partnership with OFH, is seeing record numbers of 20 or 30+ students
regularly! We're seeing academic and behavioral performance
improving as a result of the weekly program. If you
are interested in attending, tutoring goes from 3:30 to 5p.m. every
Thursday with very few exceptions. You may contact Ames Church
to be sure.
